Hi, Organising the (sixteenth RacketCon) is underway! The [RacketCon 2026: call for presentations](https://racket.discourse.group/t/racketcon-2026-call-for-presentations/4279) is out and we have confirmed the date October 3-4 and venue Oakstop in Oakland CA. I'd like to introduce some members of the RacketCon organising team: - Stephen De Gabrielle - program organiser & cat-herder[1] - an IT professional working in the UK healthcare sector, Stephen uses Racket and Rhombus for [scripting](https://docs.racket-lang.org/guide/scripts.html), [plot](https://docs.racket-lang.org/plot/index.html), [presentations](https://docs.racket-lang.org/rhombus-slideshow/index.html), and just for fun. - Robby Findler - helping hand - a professor of computer science studying programming languages, Robby is a core developer of Racket (who focuses mostly on contracts, DrRacket, and redex). - Matthew Flatt - general organizer - a professor of computer science studying programming languages, Matthew is a core developer of Racket (who focuses mostly on macros, compilation, and the runtime system) There are more of us but the purpose of the is post is to ask **you** to join the team.
