# Maximum width of pen

Hi All,

The contract of `pen%` says the width of a pen needs to be a real between 0 and 255.  
Is 255 an arbitrary maximum limit?  
If so, I'd like it to be lifted.

I notice that the corresponding function in Cairo doesn't have a limit.
