# On macOS how to exit the racket executable

On macOS using Emacs, how do I exit the racket executable launched by `empty-scene` without killing the REPL or force quitting the executable and cause the `{racket-back-end-/} exited abnormally with code 1`. Closing the window, just closes the window and not active process.

Does Command+Q or AppName \> Quit (in the menu) work? You can typically also right-click on the app in the dock.
