# Punct: Markdown/Racket authoring environment

**Punct** [began](https://joeldueck.com/wiki?name=A+lightweight+Pollen+replacement) as sort of a lightweight Pollen replacement, and then became a way of combining CommonMark-flavored Markdown with Racket. It is extremely derivative of both Pollen and Alexis King‘s CommonMark library.

I plan to be at [the Racket meetup on gather.town on Saturday](https://racket.discourse.group/t/racket-meet-up-saturday-2-july-2022-at-18-00-utc/1094) to demo the thing as it exists so far and solicit some ideas. The code is very early-stage, but useable.
