I teach data science and CS courses at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Before that, I spent nearly 10 years as a software developer for Epic, a health care tech company.
Before that, I spent many years as a math professor, at a bunch of very different institutions: UW-Madison, the University of Puget Sound, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, the University of Minnesota.
For the purposes of Racket's forum: I've used emacs for many many years, so I can bang out very simple Lisp code quite well. Years ago I got into Haskell and really liked it, though my professional experience is with more mainstream languages: C#, Typescript/Javascript, Python.
Other languages I've used: Julia, MUMPS, Visual Basic 6, Java, and many others.
