New Snapshot Builds Configuration

Hi everyone,

We are planning to simplify and normalize that snapshot build configurations, easing the systems administration tasks at Utah and Northwestern. The upshot is that both sites will have the same set of builds and that the set of builds will be fewer, but hopefully not in a way that affects anyone's workflow. Unless there is a concern, we will try switching things over on Sunday.

The main changes:

  • only CS builds will be available (no BC snapshot builds)

  • only racket and racket minimal snapshots will be built (no more racket+tests builds)

  • RISC-V Linux, i386 Windows, i386 Mac OS, and PPC Mac OS are Minimal Racket, only. While we do intend to limit build effort for platforms that are not so likely to be used, we also still want to prove installation paths for these and and provide raco cross support.
