In this screenshot, the green oval is highlighting something that is clearly not an identifier. Things like this are much more common for me recently (maybe just this latest version?). Are any of y'all seeing things like this?

I haven't seen that. Is that #lang racket? (The bug could be in Check Syntax or in the lang.) Does it reproduce easily?
It's #lang typed/racket/base, I believe. (Definitely TR, probably TRB). I don't believe it's easy to reproduce, but I'll definitely work on it. Um... after I work on the release, that is.
