Italian keyboard

Hello,
I’m Italian and I use an Italian keyboard.
In Italian keyboards there isn’t { and } keys, but in windows and Linux there’s a way to enter them.

This is my Italian keyboard.

If I press alt gr + shift + è the result is { and if I press alt gr + shift + + the result is }.

But this doesn’t work in DrRacket, I have to enter them in notepad and do copy and paste.

There’s another problem. There isn’t the key for the quasiquote symbol.
In Linux (kubuntu) if I type alt gr + ‘ the result is the quasiquote symbol, but this doesn’t work in windows and in DrRacket.

Here you can find all the shortcuts:

It seems Windows comes with an extra keyboard layout "Italian (142)",
which should be a little more programmer friendly than the standard layout.

Other ideas can be seen here:

The alternative is to add a US keyboard layout in Windows and switch to it when programming.
This wil get you easy access to to both , {}, ` and '.

I used to do just that, when I had a danish keyboard.
These days, I simply buy keyboards and laptops with a US layout.

An alternative is to add your preferred key combinations to your own layout:

I’ve installed the “Italian 142” keyboard layout and it works very well.
Thank you very much!
