ok folks, we're going to try doing this on Discord tomorrow (in the #voice channel), as an experiment
Tomorrow we'll aim to discuss:
- summary and current status of the Qi compiler project
- the architecture of a "first class" DSL, i.e. one where the DSL has the same status as the host language, including having a compiler, binding rules, macros, etc.
- sneak preview of the syntax-spec library (part of Michael Ballantyne's PhD work at NEU), and how it enables such "first class" DSLs
- discuss ideas for compiler optimizations
- write some optimizations!
- anything else anyone wants to talk about or learn more about
